Regional challenges often cross borders. This is why the 2021–2027 programming period calls for stronger cooperation among EU member states. Under Article 22 of Regulation (EU) No. 2021/1060, all specific goals must now include cooperation actions.

However, finding the right partners for such projects can be difficult. Many stakeholders rely on existing contacts and have limited ways to connect with new organisations that may be better suited to their goals.

To support this process, Interact has launched a new map tool: www.cooperationactions.eu. The tool is designed to help users identify potential partners across the EU. It uses a simple, interactive map interface that allows searches by programme title, country, NUTS III region, topic of cooperation actions, and scope of partnership needed.

By making it easier to explore and connect with other stakeholders, the tool aims to improve how cooperation actions are planned and delivered. It is particularly useful now, as many programmes enter the implementation phase of the current programming period. The map supports more inclusive, effective, and long-lasting partnerships across borders.
