INTERREG – Guardian of Traditions
As part of the Interreg Cooperation Day 2025, the Managing Authority of the (INTERREG VI-A) IPA Bulgaria – Türkiye Programme will host a vibrant celebration under the theme “INTERREG – Guardian of Traditions.” This year’s event will highlight the Programme’s role in preserving cross-border heritage while immersing participants in the rich culture of the region.
The celebration will take place on 12 September 2025 in Harmanli, Haskovo District, Bulgaria, as part of the traditional “Na Harmana” Festival. Visitors will experience an engaging program featuring traditional crafts, folklore, dance, and cuisine, reflecting the deep-rooted traditions of the cross-border communities.
The venue itself carries a special significance, combining the investment grounds of two previous cross-border projects and hosting an event that was once funded under the Programme. This unique setting showcases how Interreg continues to support the preservation of local heritage and foster cross-border cooperation.
This year’s Interreg Cooperation Day promises to be an inspiring celebration of tradition, culture, and collaboration, inviting everyone to explore the Programme’s impact on sustaining and sharing the region’s rich heritage.
